Eight guns, eight different kicks.

Hold the trigger and every automatic gun draws its own shape. Here are eight of them as simple sketches, with where each one pulls, where it gets hard, and how to meet it by hand.

R-301 Carbine

Assault rifleEasier to hold
SKETCH
Direction
Mostly straight up, with a small sway from side to side.
Hardest part
The back half of a long spray, where the small sways start to add up.
By hand
A steady pull-down and tiny sideways nudges are enough, which makes it a good gun to learn on.

R-99 SMG

SMGModerate
SKETCH
Direction
A short climb with a constant shake from side to side.
Hardest part
Keeping the shake tight at range, where the sideways drift matters more than the climb.
By hand
Pull down lightly and let your aim follow the target instead of chasing every wiggle.

VK-47 Flatline

Assault rifleHarder to hold
SKETCH
Direction
Climbs firmly, then swings clearly to the side.
Hardest part
The middle of the mag, where the climb and the swing arrive at the same time.
By hand
Start with a firm pull-down, then ease it and lean against the swing as it builds.

Volt SMG

SMGEasier to hold
SKETCH
Direction
A light climb with a small, quick wobble.
Hardest part
Not over-correcting: the wobble is small and quick, so big movements make it worse.
By hand
A light pull-down is plenty. Put your effort into tracking, not into fighting the kick.

C.A.R. SMG

SMGEasier to hold
SKETCH
Direction
A short, tight climb with very little sway.
Hardest part
The tail end of a long mag, when the climb finally becomes visible.
By hand
A gentle, even pull-down is usually all it takes.

HAVOC Rifle

Assault rifleModerate
SKETCH
Direction
Winds up briefly, then climbs quickly with a slight drift.
Hardest part
The first shots after the wind-up, when the climb is quickest.
By hand
Begin the pull-down on the first shot rather than after it, and keep it smooth.

M600 Spitfire

LMGModerate
SKETCH
Direction
A long, steady climb with a slow drift across a big magazine.
Hardest part
Late in the mag, when small errors have piled up.
By hand
Use the opening shots to settle in, then keep the pull even all the way to the end.

Devotion LMG

LMGHarder to hold
SKETCH
Direction
Starts slowly, then fires faster as it spins up, and the climb speeds up with it.
Hardest part
The moment it reaches full speed, when the climb is quickest.
By hand
Increase your pull as the gun speeds up instead of holding one steady pull.

Simplified drawings, not game data. The sketches show each gun's general character, how far it climbs and how much it sways, not real coordinates. Dots appear in firing order, the white one first. Patterns change with patches, attachments and range, and the tags are a general guide, not a ranking. For the exact shape, spray a wall in the Firing Range.

Reading a pattern

Four parts that make up every spray.

Once you can pick these out, a gun you have never held starts to make sense.

The climb

Each shot lifts your crosshair a little. Guns differ in how fast it lifts, and that speed decides how hard you have to pull down.

The sway

Most guns also push left and right as they climb. That sideways part is what drags a long spray off a target at range.

The reset

Let go of the trigger for a moment and the gun settles. The next burst starts from the beginning again, so short bursts stay in the easy part.

The build

Barrels, stocks and optics change how a gun feels to spray, and a patch can change the pattern itself. Last season's muscle memory may not fit this one.

By hand

How players learn a pattern, one gun at a time.

It takes hours, but the method is simple. Most of the work happens in the Firing Range, where nothing shoots back.

01

Spray a wall

Empty a magazine into a flat wall and look at the shape the bullet holes make. Do it a few times to see what repeats.

02

Pull against the shape

Move your aim down against the climb and sideways against the sway. Start with big corrections, then shrink them until the holes stack.

03

Add your real build

Repeat with the barrel, stock and optic you actually run. A new attachment can change the feel enough to need fresh practice.

04

Test on a moving target

Holding a pattern on a still wall is one skill. Holding it on an enemy that strafes is another, so finish there.

Three ways to hold a pattern

Practice, a fixed macro or
a script that knows the gun.

All three try to keep a spray on one point. The difference shows up when you swap guns, change an attachment or meet a new season.

By hand

  • ✕Hours of Firing Range time for each gun
  • ✕A new attachment or patch means relearning
  • ✕Slips when you are tired or tilted

Fixed macro

  • ✕Replays one pull, whatever you hold
  • ✕Too strong for one gun, too weak for the next
  • ✕Edited by hand after every patch

Apex Script

Same spray, one point of impact.

Apex Script recognizes the gun and attachments in your hands and counters that exact pattern. Every gun above is covered, and so is the rest of the arsenal, with no list of profiles to manage.

Automatic

It reads your loadout

Swap the R-301 for a Flatline, change a barrel or an optic: Apex Script notices and loads the matching profile before your next shot, so you never pick a pattern yourself.

99% recoil control

Full-auto sprays stay on one spot, whatever shape the gun's own pattern has.

Up to 350 m

The control holds at long range too, even through a scope.

Gun and attachment detection

It sees what you picked up and switches profiles on its own.

FAQ

Questions

Are Apex Legends recoil patterns the same every time?

For most guns the shape is broadly the same from spray to spray, which is what makes it learnable. Attachments change how it feels, and a patch can change the pattern itself, so what you learned last season may need a refresh.

Which Apex gun has the hardest recoil?

It depends on the season and on who you ask. Guns with a long, quick climb or a wide sideways swing, such as the Flatline and the Devotion, ask the most of your hand, while the C.A.R. (often typed CAR) and the R-301 are usually easier to hold.

Do the sketches show the real patterns?

No. They are simplified drawings of each gun's general character, meaning how far it climbs and how much it sways. They contain no game data, and real patterns change with patches, attachments and range. For the exact shape, spray a wall in the Firing Range.

How do I practice a pattern in the Firing Range?

Spray a flat wall to see the shape, pull against it, repeat with your real attachments, then switch to a moving target. The steps above walk through the routine.

Is there a script that follows every pattern?

Yes. Apex Script recognizes your gun and attachments and counters that exact pattern, with 99% recoil control out to 350 m.

Will I get banned for using a recoil script?

Apex Script never goes inside the game. It reads the game image to know your gun and counters the recoil through your mouse or controller.

Since 2020, no customer has reported a ban. Most of our 4,500+ players use it on their main accounts.

Does it work on PS5, Xbox and with a controller?

Yes. Apex Script runs on PC with mouse and keyboard or controller, and on PS5, PS4 and Xbox. See the PS5 and Xbox guides.

Can I add an aimbot to it?

Yes. Apex AI is our AI aimbot, and the Apex Bundle includes both tools.

How fast is delivery?

Instant. As soon as your payment clears, the download link and license key arrive in your inbox.
